Italy-Vietnam cultural centre marks 20th anniversary

The Italy-Vietnam cultural exchange centre (DANTE) held a ceremony in Hanoi on December 6 to mark its 20 th founding anniversary.

The Italy-Vietnam cultural exchange centre (DANTE) held a ceremony inHanoi on December 6 to mark its 20 th founding anniversary.

Addressingthe event, President of the Vietnam-Italy Friendship Association NguyenVan Nam reviewed the important contributions of the centre to bringingthe Italian culture and language to Vietnamese young generations.

Despitenumerous difficulties in facility and personnel, DANTE has developedceaselessly and become the only reliable address in Hanoi forVietnamese youths and those who love the Italian culture and language,he added.

In the coming time, the centre will focus onimproving the quality of Italian language training, increasing culturalexchange activities and encouraging exchanges between the two countries’universities and research centres.

It will also make greaterefforts to further develop the cooperation and strategic partnershipbetween Vietnam and Italy. -VNA

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year
