Italy isone of the world’s leading countries in exporting technology, especiallymachinery production lines, because it has invested in thorough research onproduction technology to provide the best technological solutions for customersand minimising production costs.
Alessandrotold Vietnam News that the Italian Government attached great importance toVietnam's market, adding that the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) wouldopen many opportunities for businesses of the two countries, includingopportunities for small and medium enterprises of Italy.
In theyears to come, many Italian businesses would head to Vietnam to open investmentfacilities, provide equipment and technological lines for Vietnameseenterprises in many localities in the country, he said.
In 2018,the export of agricultural products of Vietnam hit a record of 40.02 billionUSD. This was also the year with the highest growth rate in the pastseven years and this attracted many big foreign companies to invest inagriculture in Vietnam./.
