Int’l SOS helps boost Vietnam’s health development

Speaking at a meeting to review 20 years of operation of InternationalSOS in Vietnam on November 21, Minister of Health Nguyen Quoc Trieualso said the company, whose clients are mainly foreign expatriates,has helped set tourists and investors’ mind at rest, and stabilise theinvestment environment in Vietnam .

Minister Trieu called for a closer coordination between Int’t SOS and Vietnamese emergency aid centres.

OSCAT/AEA Vietnam, a precursor of International SOS, was licensed inVietnam in 1989. A wholly foreign-owned enterprise, International SOSnow provides medical services to over 1,000 companies, representativeoffices, diplomatic offices and international organisations in Vietnam ./.

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year
