Int’l science film festival 2014 to open

The International Science Film Festival 2014 with a focus on future technologies will take place in Hanoi and some localities across Vietnam from October 24 to December 15.
The International Science Film Festival 2014 with a focus on futuretechnologies will take place in Hanoi and some localities across Vietnamfrom October 24 to December 15.

The fourth festival will draw the participation of 12 nations in Southeast Asia, North Africa and the Middle East.

Audiences will learn technologies for the sustainable future through short firms, experiments and games.

Apart from screenings in Hanoi, the films and TV shows will be airedin other localities, including Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Thai Binh, Da Nang,Hue, Quang Nam, Dak Lak, Ho Chi Minh City, Bac Lieu and Da Lat.-VNA

ASEAN’s goods, culinary culture promoted in Europe

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year
