Visitors at the ninth Vietnam International Retail and Franchise Show (VIETRF 2017) (Photo: VNA)HCM City (VNA) – The ninth Vietnam InternationalRetail and Franchise Show (VIETRF 2017) kicked off at the Saigon Exhibition andConvention Centre of Ho Chi Minh City on June 1.
Nearly 270 businesses from 14 countries and territoriesworldwide are participating in the event, which is jointly held by theAssociation of Vietnam Retailers, the Korea International Trade Association ofthe Republic of Korea and Coex Vietnam.
Besides the display of products, equipment and technology atmore than 300 booths, the exhibition also features several conferences, tradeprogrammes and the final round of a start-ups contest.
The VIETRF 2017 is viewed as a destination for businesses toseek suitable investment opportunities through franchise.
Franchise has been growing fast in Vietnam’s retail sectorover the years, especially in coffee chains, restaurants and fashion shops. Itis expanded to other areas such as education-training, beauty services and consultancy.
Many foreign companies are looking for franchise partners inVietnam at the exhibition.-VNA
