The 14th International Agriculture Trade Fair (AgroViet 2014) kickedoff in Hanoi on November 14, drawing over 200 businesses from Vietnam, Japan , China , India and South Africa .
They bring to the fair their outstanding agricultural, seafood andwood products, handicrafts, as well as equipment, technologies andmachines serving production, processing and maintenance.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Hoang Van Thangexpressed his hope that the fair will provide a good chance forbusinesses, producers and scientists to exchange experience and accessnew technologies in order to increase product competitiveness.
The fair, which will end on November 17, is expected to bridgeproduction and consumption, as well as help Vietnam popularise itsagricultural products and intensify trade ties with foreign partners.-VNA
