The 2015 Vietnam International Industrial Fair (VIIF) kicked off in Hanoi on October 20, offering opportunities for domestic and foreign business communities.
At the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Huynh Vinh Ai said with numerous opportunities and challenges to be brought about by the just-concluded Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) deal, Vietnamese entrepreneurs need to improve their competitive capacity.
He added that the industrial fair serves as an effective tool to facilitate trade promotion activities and investment cooperation expansion.
The fair houses 400 booths of 300 domestic and foreign enterprises, displaying latest technological solutions, high-quality industrial products and services in the fields of manufacturing, metallurgy, mechanical engineering and automation.
