Hanoi (VNA) – Indonesian PresidentJoko Widodo has agreed to allocate 14.1 trillion rupiah (over 985 million USD) forfour new schemes within the framework of the 2022 National Economic Recovery Programme.
The information was unveiled by Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto at aconference last week.
The newschemes cover a reduction of 3 percent in lending rates to residents in thefirst half of 2022, expansion and acceleration of cash support for vendors, andpreferential added value taxes for housing and luxury sale tax incentives for automobiles.
TheIndonesian Government plans to launch these schemes in the first quarter thisyear before the National Socio-economic Survey begins in April./.
