This commitment is manifested in Indonesia's efforts toestablish good relations and strengthen economic cooperation both bilaterallyand multilaterally, including its involvement in the Indo-Pacific EconomicFramework for Prosperity (IPEF).
Speaking at the Indo-Pacific Chamber of Commerce andIndustry Business Forum in Nusa Dua Bali on March 18, Airlangga said that IPEFpartners are united by a vision to innovate and bring new ideas to fostercross-border trade as well as cooperation in existing approaches.
Stressing that the Indo-Pacific region is a driver of theworld’s economic growth, he said the proactive engagement of stakeholders isthe essence of the new framework, and IPEF member countries are aware of itsimportant role in creating conditions that enable the private sector toparticipate in realising economic transformation.
Indonesia is determined to ensure that the IPEF providesfull benefits in terms of generating jobs, building an innovation ecosystem, andincreasing productivity for more inclusive and sustainable growth, the coordinatingminister added./.
