Jakarta (VNA) - At least seven workers were killed and six others were seriously injured in an explosion in the construction site of a power plant in North Sumatra, Indonesia, local government announced on February 25.
Jonson Tarigan, senior official of Karo district disaster management agency said the incident took place in a tunnel located in Rih Tengah village on February 24.
He said a generator exploded nearby when the workers were working in the tunnel. All the victims have been brought to a nearby hospital.-VNA
