Jakarta (VNA) - The Indonesian Government on November 9 kicked off a capacity-building programme for 400 delegates from 58 Asian and African countries.
As part of the activities to mark the 60th anniversary of the Asian-African Conference (AAC), the programme includes seven training courses covering aquaculture, business and tourism activities of residents in border areas, archive management, governance and corruption prevention.
They are scheduled in Bandung, Bekasi, Sukabumi in West Java, Semarang in Central Java, Jakarta and Jayapura in November. The governance and anti- corruption courses will be organised in Tusinia.
In her opening remarks, Indonesian Minister of Foreign Affairs Retno Marsudi underscored the need to implement commitments of Asian and African leaders in 2015 through the South-South cooperation.
Earlier, two similar training programmes were held in late October.-VNA
