He expects adaptation funding of 100 billion USD fromdeveloped countries to be met immediately in order to accelerate efforts todeal with climate change.
According to him, in recent years, Indonesia has shown concrete steps in termsof climate control. The country’s current deforestation rate is the lowest for20 years, the rate of forest fires is reduced by 82 percent. Indonesia willalso restore 64 thousand hectares of mangrove land.
