Hanoi, September 13 (VNA) – Indonesia has launched a programme to strengthen cybersecurity knowledge and practical skills to individual participants, business actors, and small enterprises.
Indonesian Minister of Communication and Informatics Budi Arie Setiadi on September 12 said that the programme is the country’sendeavor to create one million digital talents for the next five years, which means 200,000 digital talents each year.
The programme include different courses such as device inventory, software and online security upgrades, phishing and malware risk mitigation, and data backup for businesses. Participants will receive a certificate upon completing the courses.
The initiative is also expected to help new talents and professionals hone their skills and nurture them to become cybersecurity specialists, the minister added.
Indonesia is expected to need an average of 458,043 digital talents every year from 2023 to 2030./.
