On the same day, the ship’s captains and officers were received byStanding Deputy Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee NguyenThanh Tai.

At the talks, Deputy Chairman Tai andCaptain S.D.Bhanot shared their viewpoints in the two countries’time-honoured friendship and cooperation in numerous areas such aspolitics, economics, national defence, culture, education, tourism andthe exchange of people.

During its five-day visit to Vietnam , Indian soldiers and crews will enter into sports exchangewith forces of the Vietnam Marine Police and explored several touristdestinations in the city.

Sankalp is the firstoffshore patrol vessel of India with 147 members and it is one of thebiggest ships owned by the Indian Coast Guard./.
