Hydrofoil services to Can Gio slated to start

HCM City (VNA) - GreenlinesDP,which operates hydrofoils between Ho Chi Minh City and Vung Tau, is set to addservices to Can Gio from the two cities as from December 23.

There will be four trips eitherway between downtown HCM City and Can Gio district and eight trips either waybetween Can Gio and Vung Tau.

They will operate from Bach DangWharf in District 1 – rather than Nha Rong Pier in District 4, from whereGreenlines operates its hydrofoils to Vung Tau and Thanh An Wharf in Can Gio.

In Vung Tau, the hydrofoils willcontinue to berth at Ho May Wharf.

Can Gio residents and officialsare entitled to a 50 percent discount, while it is free for disabled people.

The company plans to operate boatswith 50, 96 and 136 seats.-VNA
