The Vietnam Infrastructure Development Investment Joint-Stock Company(IDICO) on May 10 officially opened the Dak Mi 4 hydroelectric plant incentral Quang Nam province.
According to Nguyen VanDat, CEO of IDICO, the plant, which cost 4,547 billion VND (218 millionUSD), has a capacity of 190 MW.
After five years ofconstruction, the project with four groups of generators has beencompleted, providing an annual electricity output of 780 million kWh forthe national grid.
The Dak Mi 4 project includes threeplants, Dak Mi 4A, Dak Mi 4B and Dak Mi 4C, all of which are located inPhuoc Xuan commune in the province's Phuoc Son district./.
