PM Orbán welcomed his Vietnamese counterpart’svisit, held ahead of Hungary’s Presidency of the Council of the EU in the lasthalf of 2024, as this is also a chance for the Southeast Asian nation toenhance coordination with the EU in regional and global issues and, especially in promoting the ratification of the EU - Vietnam Investment ProtectionAgreement (EVIPA).
During the visit, the two sides are set to sign somecooperation documents in such areas as security, diplomacy, culture, and healthcare.
