Illustrative image (Photo: https://www.hoaphat.com.vn/)Hanoi (VNA) - Steelmaker Hoa Phat has reported that the export of steel pipe productsproduced by its subsidiary - Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Co., Ltd - in the first fivemonths of 2020 surged by 78 percent year-on-year despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
Accordingly, key products of the firm imported by foreign partners in theperiod were black steel pipes, hot-dipgalvanized steel pipes, and galvanisedsteel pipes.
Along with boosting exports, Hoa Phat Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. has also introduced newproducts and diversified types of steel pipes to serve the demand of customers.
Thanks its efforts, Hoa Phat has still maintainedexport revenue despite the COVID-19 outbreak, which negatively affected importactivities in many countries worldwide.
High quality products of the firm have been sold in the US, Canada,Australia, Mexico and other Southeast Asian countries.
In 2019, Hoa Phat’s steel export volume increased by 17percent compared to the previous year, reaching 19,100 tonnes./.
