Construction is estimated to cost about 16.5 million rubles (equivalentto 12 billion VND), with half to be covered by Vietnam’s centralNghe An province , 30 percent by Russian companies and the remainderfrom the Association of Vietnamese citizens in Russia.
According to Head of Ulyanovsk’s Architecture and Urban PlanningDepartment Tatiana Tarasova, the memorial will sit at the site wherethe bust of Vietnam’s beloved leader currently stands in the Ho ChiMinh Boulevard in Zasviyazhski district.
A 1,300 square metre square is planned to be developed next to the monument.
Around 900 kilometres east to Moscow, Ulyanovsk city is the birthplace of Vladimir Ilyich Lenin.-VNA
