At a reception for the Korean guest, Phong hailed KAFF forlaunching the construction of a centre on improving teachers’ capacity in thecity.
He pledged all possible support to the Korean communityliving in the city so that they could become a bridge connecting Ho Chi MinhCity and the RoK in the fields of economy, culture and education.
Choi, for his part, said the RoK would further enhance all-roundties with Vietnam, including economic, trade and education cooperation with HoChi Minh City.
He said the non-governmental KAFF will launch jointeducation projects and increase the exchange of lecturers between the twocountries in the near future.
As home to nearly 100,000 Koreans, Ho Chi Minh City has sofar signed cooperation agreements with five RoK cities.-VNA
