He met with the visitingExecutive Chairman of the Vietnam-UK Network, Ben Chapman, who is alsothe Honourary President of the All Party Group for Vietnam, on May 28.
The Vietnamese official highlighted theachievements made as part of the economic, commercial, cultural, andeducational cooperation between the Vietnamese southern hub and the UK,including two-way trade reaching 750 million USD in 2014.
The UK Government has supported HCM City in training officials andmanagement personnel in the finance, banking and education sectors, Quansaid, adding that he hopes the European country will apply favourableconditions for Vietnamese nationals living and working in the UK.
Chapman, a former Member of Parliament, said the Vietnamese communityin the UK has actively contributed to local development.
He expects the development cooperation between the two nations willbe enhanced in various fields, especially with regard to the affiliationbetween their governmental agencies and peoples.-VNA
