The survey, released on April 21, shows that thedemand for college and university graduates and postgraduates accountsfor 35 percent of the available jobs, whilst 30 percent of the jobs areoffered to candidates with a vocational qualification. The remainingpositions are for unskilled workers.
Most of thevacancies are available in the fields of information technology (IT),electrics and electronics, textiles and garments, footwear, mechanics,real estate, sales and business, marketing and public relations.
FALMI Vice Director Tran Anh Tuan noted that labour supply isestimated to rise by 15 percent in May compared to the previous month asa large number of students will graduate during that time and startlooking for jobs.
The number of experiencedemployees who wish to switch jobs is also forecast to grow above 20percent in May and in the next few months.
Ashortage of qualified workers remains in automation mechanics and IT,while there is an oversupply of labour in accounting and auditing,personnel and administration and architecture and construction.-VNA
