HCM City holds drill in response to social disorder

The Ho Chi Minh City police, local young volunteers and units concerned co-held a drill in response to illegal motorbike racing and disturbances to social order from the night of December 6 to the early hours of December 7.

The drill focusedon dealing with disturbances in public areas, such as acts of holdingparades, vandalism, among others, with a view to bettering the readinessof the police, the army and their collaboration with local residents,thereby fine-tuning policies on social disorder prevention.-VNA

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year
