HCM City (VNA) - The Consular Club in HCM City held its 25th annualInternational Charity Bazaar on November 3 at Adora Center in Tan Binh district.
The bazaar offered handicrafts, delicious food and otheritems from all around the world.
Visitors joined a raffle draw offering valuable prices likevouchers for deluxe resorts and hotels around Vietnam, spa packages, and lunchor dinner vouchers at luxury restaurants in HCM City.
All proceeds from the event were distributed to help thoseless fortunate in the community.
In 2017, the bazaar raised 70,000 USD for 12 charityprojects, including scholarships for children and teenagers, free ROP surgeryfor blindness in premature babies, and water filtration for shelters.
The Consular Club, which includes representatives fromconsulates in HCM City, was founded in 1994 and is a non-profit organisationthat aims to improve the quality of life of disadvantaged people in southernVietnam.-VNA
