The python reticulatus are a rare species inclassification Group II, which consists of those restricted from exploitationor use for commercial purposes, according to the Government’s Decree No.32/2006/ND-CPon management of endangered, precious, and rare forest plants and animals, aswell as Appendix II of the Convention on International Trade inEndangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
