Double-decker buses provided 127 free trips for 6,681 passengers during April 28 – May 2 holiday in the capital city of Hanoi, reported the municipal Transport Department.

Hanoi (VNA) – Double-decker buses provided 127 free trips for 6,681passengers during April 28– May 2 holiday in the capital city of Hanoi, reported the municipal TransportDepartment.

During the period, buses across the city also ran 97,995 trips, or 99.9% of the plan and 15% higher thanthe same period last year, with over 7.56 million passengers.

Furthermore, urban railway line 2A completed 1,045 trips with 174,434passengers.

The Hanoi Public Transport Management Centre also adjusted the routesof three bus lines to serve local tourist destinations.

No accidents involving buses were recorded during the holiday./.
