Hanoi: Vietnam Cycle returns at sixth edition

The Vietnam International Bicycle Exhibition (Vietnam Cycle 2017), the only event on bicycles, e-bikes and accessories in Vietnam, has returned to Hanoi at its sixth edition.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam InternationalBicycle Exhibition (Vietnam Cycle 2017), the only event on bicycles, e-bikesand accessories in Vietnam, has returned to Hanoi at its sixth edition.

The Vietnam Cycle 2017, held by Vinexad and the VietnamAuto Motorcycle and Bicycle Association, was opened at the Hanoi InternationalExhibition Centre (91 Tran Hung Dao street) on November 16.

According to Vinaxad Deputy Director General Trinh Xuan Tuan,the exhibition, a highlight of the country’s bicycle industry, will give a pushto the increasing trend of riding bicycles - green energy in big cities today.

This year’s event features 150 booths run by 50 domesticand foreign manufacturers, including the UK, France, Japan, the Republic ofKorea, Chinese Taipei and China. They bring to the fair bicycles and e-bikeswith diverse designs that fit any age.

On display are products from many leading brands in theworld, including Giant, Gitane, Dahon, Bianchi, Peugeot, Definitive, Puch,Look, Merida and Galaxy.

On the sidelines of the four-day fair, there will be aseminar on bicycles and electric bicycles hosted by the National Traffic SafetyCommittee, during which the committee will answer inquiries of enterprises onurban planning for transportation and procedures for import and registrationfor vehicles.

A bicycle fashion show, a creative photo corner with bikes, and a playground toexperience new vehicles will be also included.

Last year, the Vietnam Cycle welcomed more than 10,000visitors and saw about 400 bicycles and e-bikes purchased and 47 dealssealed.-VNA
