Hanoi (VNA) – Hanoi authorities plans to provide 120 online publicservices within the first quarter of 2017.
In thefirst phase from January 19, the capital will offer 20 services at municipallevel, with the Department of Justice installing 12 services for law practiceregistering and the Department of Culture and Sports opening two services on licencingadvertisements.
Meanwhile,the Tourism Department will launch six online services on issuing tour guidecards.
Seven otherservices will be offered at district and ward/communal levels.
In July2016, Hanoi launched the portal egov.hanoi.gov.vn where residents can access toperform seven administrative procedures such as registering a birth, death ormarriage.
As ofDecember 15 last year, the e-government system was available in all 584 urbanwards and rural communes across the city.
The capital city has set a target to provide 80 percent ofpublic services online by 2020.-VNA
