Hanoi (VNA) – Belgian businesses andlocalities are expected to boost cooperation with Hanoi in healthcare, culturalheritage preservation, and environment, according to a city official.
At a meeting with Belgian Secretary of State forForeign Trade Pieter De Crem in Hanoi on October 3, Vice Chairman of themunicipal People’s Committee Nguyen The Hung said the city will create the bestconditions for Belgian firms to explore the market.
He thanked Belgium for helping Hanoi upgrade theImperial Citadel of Thang Long and implement clean water projects.
Hanoi will work with the Embassy of Belgium inVietnam to celebrate the 45th founding anniversary of Vietnam-Belgium diplomaticrelations in 2018, he added.
De Crem said his visit to Vietnam aims toenhance trade between the two countries and between Belgian localities andHanoi.
He hoped the two countries’ enterprises willhave enjoy win-win cooperation in the future.-VNA
