Hanoi (VNA) - The Hanoi Department of Construction and the Water Gen Companyof Israel on March 23 inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the advancedtechnology development in electric-water generators.

TheHanoi People's Committee has ordered atmospheric water generators from thecompany, which could create clean water from humidity in the air with a capacityof 25 to 10,000 litres of water per day.

WaterGen has planned to build a factory in Hanoi to produce advanced technologyequipment such as atmospheric electric-water generators and water filters toserve the domestic market and other countries, said Michael Rutman, Presidentof the company.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, a representative from the department said theagreement marked the two sides’ efforts to set up a water infrastructure systemwith a view to providing Hanoi residents with a new clean water solution.-VNA
