The programme, the fifth of its kind, calls upon customers to speakout against violations of their rights to businesses or relevantagencies.
The purchasers themselves should be fullyaware of their rights, said Deputy Director of the municipal Departmentof Industry and Trade Phan Tien Binh.
The programme,which runs from March 1 to July 31, will host various activitiesincluding a meeting in response to World Consumer Rights Day on March15, a workshop, and other campaigns to raise public awareness of theissue.
March will be celebrated as a consumer rightsaction month, offering opportunities for customers to buy high-qualityessential goods at reasonable prices.
