Hanoi opens int’l transport exhibition, seminar

In his speech, Luuurged the entire transport sector to embrace breakthrough solutionssynchronously and comprehensively while rallying resources at home andabroad, since transportation growth is vital to socio-economicdevelopment and national defence in the international integrationprogress.

The exhibition saw the presence ofnearly 50 exhibitors in and outside the country, including L-Orange(China), Emirates Airlines (Dubai), FLIR systems (Singapore), VietnamAirlines, Vinalines, among others.

The event alsointroduces the 70-year history of the Vietnamese transport sector,orientations to transport infrastructure development and links upVietnam with participating countries in the field, said Transport DeputyMinister Nguyen Ngoc Dong.

Relevant seminars on transport infrastructure will also be held during the event, which will run until July 10.-VNA

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year
