Hanoi (VNA) – The Hanoi Department of Health has set a goal of achieving a 90% or higher Satisfaction Index of Public Administration Services (SIPAS) regarding medical examination and treatment for 2024.

To achieve this target, the department will prioritise collecting public feedback through more conferences and public dialogues. It will also increase the accessibility of suggestion boxes, online information portal, and social media platforms for residents to voice their opinions.

The department will actively measure satisfaction not only among residents, but also among organisations that interact with the healthcare system. This data collection will allow them to identify areas for improvement in hospital operations, staff professionalism, and overall service quality.

It is committed to a streamlined and efficient approach by adhering to the one-stop shop mechanism approved by the municipal People's Committee. This mechanism ensures residents can apply and obtain results for administrative procedures in a single location.

A 2023 survey showed that 83.27% of respondents were satisfied with the building and implementation of healthcare policies, reflecting a 3.74% year-on-year increase. Additionally, 82.9% of residents believed public hospitals had improved service quality while 82.71% expressed ongoing interest in healthcare policies and treatments./.
