The meeting between the administration of Hai Duong province and representatives of FIABCI-Korea (Photo: VNA)Hai Duong (VNA) – The authorities of the northern province of Hai Duong had aworking session on June 20 with a delegation from the International Real EstateFederation’s representative agency in the Republic of Korea (FIABCI-Korea) onthe building of a smart city in the locality.
After a field trip to an area planned for developing the smart city, theFIABCI-Korea delegation proposed the province facilitate the implementation ofthe 300ha project, which will cover the two banks of Thai Binh River.
Arepresentative from the delegation said the planned area gathers alldevelopment potential and geographic advantages to become one of the key regionsof the north.
The green environment around Thai Binh River is the best condition for thebuilding of a smart city with residential areas, shopping malls andrecreational areas, he said.
The smart city in Hai Duong will lay a firm foundation for not only the currentfourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) which features informationtechnology and knowledge but also the futurefifth Industrial Revolution (Industry 5.0) that requires human creativity at thehighest level on the fields of fashion, art and entertainment, he added.
Nguyen Manh Hien, Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, affirmed thatthe local authorities always wish to develop a smart city and will provide allpossible conditions for the FIABCI-Korea delegation’s further study anddevelopment of the project.
Approved by the local authorities, the delegation will conduct a survey and submita detailed plan on the project to the province in July.-VNA
