The message praised theLPRP’s leadership in the achievements Laos has made in the struggle fornational liberation as well as in national building and development overthe past 60 years, contributing to enhance the country’s prestige andstatus in the international arena.
“The CPV andthe Vietnamese people warmly congratulated the LPRP and Lao people forthe important and comprehensive accomplishments they have made over thepast time,” the message read, adding that those successes are verysignificant to Laos’ cause of national defence and development whileactively contributing to strengthening the special solidarity andcomprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, as well as to themaintenance of peace, stability, cooperation and development in theregion and the world.
The message continued, “Webelieve that the Lao Party, State and People will build on theirtraditions and positive momentum and gain still more significantachievements in the renovation, and successfully implement theResolution of the 9th Party Congress and organise the 10th NationalParty Congress in 2016.”
The CPV CentralCommittee took note that the special solidarity, traditional friendshipand comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, founded byPresident Ho Chi Minh and his counterparts Caysone Phomvihan andSouphanouvong and fostered by numerous generations of Vietnamese and Laoleaders and people, has grown and deepen in all aspects, contributingto the renovation, national building and defence in each country.
On the occasion, the CPV also valued the on-going support the LaoParty, State and People have provided to Vietnam, affirming that theVietnamese Communist Party, the State and the People will do theirutmost to further elevate the special solidarity between the two nationsto a new height.
The same day, CPV GeneralSecretary Nguyen Phu Trong sent flower baskets to the LPRP GeneralSecretary and President of Laos Choummaly Saynhasone, and former Partychief and former President Khamtay Siphandone.
Member of the CPV Central Committee and head of its Commission forExternal Relations, Hoang Binh Quan sent his greetings to Lao PartyPolitburo member, Deputy Prime Minister, head of the LPRP CentralCommittee’s Commission for External Relations, and Foreign MinisterThongloun Sisoulith.-VNA
