Germany helps train Vietnamese nurses

A total of 125 Vietnamese young people will pursue a three-year training course in Germany to become nurses taking care of the elderly.
A total of 125 Vietnamese young people will pursue a three-year trainingcourse in Germany to become nurses taking care of the elderly.

This is the second part of a vocational training programme jointlyconducted by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy(BMWi), the Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), the FederalPublic Employment Agency (BA) and the International Placement Services(ZAV).

According to the German Embassy in Vietnam , apreparatory course for these trainees recently opened at the ASEANCollege , offering them German language training by July 2015.

As many as 100 Vietnamese were recruited in 2013 following the first phase of the programme.-VNA

ASEAN’s goods, culinary culture promoted in Europe

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.

Tien Giang strives to reduce poverty rate to 0.87% this year

Chinese sick sailor on vessel AMIS STAR provided with first aid
