The German parliament has approved the “Bildungscampus Deutscheland” (German education campus) project in Ho Chi Minh City.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Germanparliament has approved the “Bildungscampus Deutscheland” (German educationcampus) project in Ho Chi Minh City.

This is another significant project in the frameworkof the Germany- Vietnam strategic partnership, following the success of theDeutsches Haus building complex also in Vietnam’s largest hub.

The “Bildungscampus Deutscheland” projectwill have total investment of about 25 million EUR (28.5 million USD), with 18million EUR funded by the federal budget of Germany. It aims to build theInternational German School (IGS) HCM City that can accommodate 600 students.

Also under the project, the two nations areplanning the construction of a modern vocational school, which is expected toprovide training for about 600 learners. -VNA

The Mekong Delta province of Bac Lieu on October 21 signed a cooperation agreement with Uiseong county, Gyeongsangbuk-do province of the Republic of Korea (RoK) on sending local labourers to the RoK to work seasonally under the form of locality-to-locality collaboration between the two countries in the 2023 - 2027 period.
