(Photo: VNA)Vientiane (VNA) – A ceremony was held at the Embassy of Vietnam in Vientiane on June 7 to present the Friendship Order to the Kaysone Phomvihane museum for its vigorous activities to honour President Ho Chi Minh.
Speakingat the ceremony, Ambassador Nguyen Ba Hung praised and thanked the museum forits effective activities over the past time, contributing to honouring the late Vietnamese leader, who is hailed as a national liberation hero ofVietnam and a great man of culture of the world, an embodiment of the special friendshipbetween the two countries.
He also expressed his hope that the museum will continue to promote the sound work, helping to cement thespecial solidarity between Vietnam and Laos.
Inresponse, Xayalath Phoneyalak, Director of the Kaysone Phomvihane MuseumDepartment, expressed his honour as the museum received the noble order of theState of Vietnam.
Healso emphasised works carried out between the two sides have contributed to furtherstrengthen the great and long-standing friendship relations between Vietnam andLaos./.
