The drive wasjointly organized by the Labour Union of the Vietnam News Agency, theVietnam Young Doctors’ Association, the Daham Voluntary Association ofthe Republic of Korea (RoK) and the Vietnam-Korea Friendship Association(VKFA).
Speaking at the campaign’s opening, Chairman of the VKFADang Hoang Can said bilateral ties between Vietnam and the RoK havestrengthened across sectors, as have people-to-people exchangeactivities.
Cultural and social welfare activities of voluntaryorganizations have contributed significantly to the traditionalfriendship of the two nations, he added.
Secretary of Phuc Thodistrict’s Party Committee Ngo Duy Hieu said the programme reflects theclose relationship between the people of Vietnam and the RoK.
