Vietnam has gone through 57 straight days without locally-transmittedcases.
All the four newpatients returned from France on flight VN5010 which landed in Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi MinhCity on October 21. They tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 while in quarantine.
Earlier, seven other passengers on the same flight were also found to beinfected with SARS-CoV-2.
A total of 1,062 COVID-19 patients in Vietnam have recovered. Among the active patients, five have tested negative for the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 once, three twice and seven thrice. There are nopatients in critical conditions. The death toll remains at 35.
As many as 14,216 people who had close contactwith COVID-19 patients or came from pandemic-hit areas are now under healthmonitoring nationwide, including 172 in hospitals, 12,812 in otherquarantine sites, and 1,132 at home or accommodation facilities./.
