The total cost for theschool’s upgrades were 2.5 billion VND (115,000 USD), two billion VND ofwhich came from Lotte Vietnam, an affiliate of the RoK’s LotteCorporation, and the remaining from the local government.
The construction of the school was carried out by Plan Internationalsince September 2014, with two new rooms and four upgraded rooms as wellas a resting room for teachers.
The school isable to accommodate students aged 3 to 11 years-old in four hamlets:Khau Vieng, Na Lang, Na Tac and Ca Do, all in Lam Vy commune.
It will welcome 85 children in the new academic year and is expected to house up to 300 within the next 10 years.-VNA
