Fairs of local goods to take place in HCM City

HCM City will host a series of trade fairs to promote made-in-Vietnam goods this year in response to the “Vietnamese people use Vietnamese goods” campaign.

According to themunicipal Department of Industry and Trade, businesses are encouraged tointroduce their products and services in a wide range of fields, suchas food and beverage, fashion, footwear, electronics, computers,telecommunication, home appliances and cosmetics.

Director of the Business Consulting and Support Centre Hoang Tho Vuongsaid that the trade fairs have become an annual commercial event in HoChi Minh City and the Southeast region, helping popularize local trademarks and stimulate purchase power.-VNA
