Former Party General Secretary Le Kha Phieu and former President ofthe Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Pham The Duyet cut theribbon to kick off the event, which will run until January 5 at 45Trang Tien Street .

Secretary General of theVietnam Association of Historical Sciences Duong Trung Quoc said theexhibition is part of the “Vietnam Legend” project carried out by theHoi Quan Di San (Heritage Inns) to promote the nation’s historicalvalues and patriotism.

The “Truong ca” (Epic)painting by artist Nguyen Doan Son describes the revolutionary path ofVietnam , while the portray of late General Nguyen Chi Thanh was madeof over 100,000 matches by Ngo Thi Thuc.

Manylacquer paintings and photo documentaries on the activities ofhigh-ranking officials of the Party and State are also put on show.-VNA
