An electronic trading platform for agricultural products was inaugurated at www.gcaeco.vn in Hanoi on November 7, providing a free-of-charge selling channel for millions of farmers, thousands of cooperatives, traders and stores across the nation.

Hanoi (VNA) – An electronictrading platform for agricultural products was inaugurated at www.gcaeco.vn in Hanoi on November 7, providinga free-of-charge selling channel for millions of farmers, thousands of cooperatives,traders and stores across the nation.

The online market is part of theGlobal Clean Agriculture (GCA) project, which utilizes the blockchain platform applicationin the global agriculture supply chain.

The GCA is being implemented inVietnam by Global Payment Connection JSC. Director of the company, Doan XuanHuy, said the GCAECO allows customers to track the origin of products and theirpath from the farm to customers.

It also helps connect sellersand buyers or consumers not only in Vietnam but also abroad.

The e-commerce platform has bothcomputer and mobile versions.-VNA
