Hanoi (VNA) – A seminar on the role of crisissettlement in economic diplomacy in the Middle East-Africa took place in Hanoion December 24.
The event was part of economic diplomatic activities held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) to help firms seek cooperation opportunities and deal with arisingproblems.
Speaking at the event, MOFA Deputy Minister PhamQuang Hieu affirmed that the event is also meant to realise directions by PrimeMinister Pham Minh Chinh at the 31st DiplomaticConference more effectively.
Several opinions at the event offered measures to deal withcrises and mitigate their impacts on Vietnamese firms doing business in theregion.
They also highlighted the role of forecasting work in preventing andaddressing crises to protect Vietnamese citizens and enterprises, as well asinter-sectoral coordination and post-crisis measures to help them settle down soon./.
