As many as 8,000 opportunities are available for job seekers at the second job fair in the northern mountainous province of Dien Bien on May 23.

Dien Bien (VNA) – As many as 8,000 opportunities are available for jobseekers at the second job fair in the northern mountainous province of DienBien on May 23.

The event, held by the provincial People’s Committee, drew the participation of22 domestic businesses and more than 1,000 students and labourers.

Business activities, number of vacancies and job requirements were introducedat the fair. The recruiters also received applications and conducted interviewswith job seekers.

The Dien Bien Job Placement Centre held consultations and provided jobs forlabourers under contracts previously inked with enterprises. It also informeddemands of the labour market and job placement plans in the coming time.

Meanwhile, vocational training establishments presented their training scale,facilities, lecturers, training quality and enrollment demands while promotingcooperation with enterprises in the field.

The job fair aimed to help students and labourers find suitable jobs while assistingenterprises in recruiting young and quality human resources to meet their developmentgoals. In addition, it also contributed to boosting the labour market as wellas reducing unemployment rate in the locality.-VNA
