Hanoi (VNA) - Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong HoaBinh hosted a reception for Alexander Anikin, Deputy Head of the Anti-CorruptionDepartment of the Russian President in Hanoi on February 18.
The Deputy PM said that Vietnam respects andappreciates the friendship and fruitful cooperation across fields with Russia.
He stressed the country always attaches important to anti-corruption work andconsiders it one of the top priorities to build a professional, modern andtransparent administration.
He affirmed the Vietnamese Government always encourages and facilitatescollaboration between anti-corruption agencies of Vietnam and Russia, towardsfurther cooperation and friendship between the two nations.
He spoke highly of the outcomes of recent cooperation between the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam and the Anti-Corruption Department of theRussian President, especially in delegation exchangeand information and experience sharing, while expressing his hope that the twoagencies will boost their bond in the coming time.
For his part, Anikin said Russia always pays attention to and seriously carryout anti-corruption work.
He expressed his pleasure to know that Vietnam has used Russia's experience inthe work, believing that the fine relationship between the two sides would laya foundation for the two agencies to expand cooperation in anti-corruption.
The same day, Vietnamese Government Inspector General Le Minh Khai andAlexander Anikin, Deputy Head of the Anti-Corruption Department of the RussianPresident held talks. - VNA
