Kuala Lumpur (VNA) - DSA ExhibitionAnd Conference Sdn Bhd has deferred the Defence Services Asia (DSA)2020 and National Security Asia (NATSEC Asia) 2020 exhibitions by almosttwo years to March 28-31, 2022.
The eventorganiser said the decision was made following exhaustive considerationwith various stakeholders, including co-organisers - the Ministry of Defence,Ministry of Home Affairs and Malaysian Armed Forces.
Initially slated for April2020, the mega-events were postponed to August this year followingthe COVID-19 outbreak.
As the crisis escalated, it was deemed in the best interest of all parties involved to defer the events toearly 2022, it said in a statement.
DSA Chairman Tan Sri AsmatKamaludin said more than 1,500 participating companies from over 60 countriesand some 350 VIP delegations from 30 countries have registered for theexhibitions that are expected to welcome 50,000 visitors./.
