Minister of Defence General Phung QuangThanh on October 5 received a visiting delegation of Russian scientistswho have helped Vietnam preserve the late President Ho Chi Minh’sembalmed body.
General Thanh highlighted the greatand effective support from Russian scientists and experts to Vietnamduring the long-term process of preserving President Ho Chi Minh’sembalmed body.
He said the Vietnamese party, State and people will always remember theRussian experts’ assistance in providing techniques, equipment, andpersonnel training for Vietnamese officials to carry on withpreservation activities on their own.
For his part, Iarugin Vladimir Nikititch, of the Russian Academy ofMedical Sciences, said he hopes that Russian scientists will have moreopportunities for effective cooperation with their Vietnamese partnersin future preservation efforts./.
