All the exhibits were handed over tothe museum during a ceremony on March 10, part of the 7th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festivaland 44th anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot’s liberation (March 10, 1975 - 2019).
They include archaeological andcultural items, along with those from the country’s revolutionary time, subsidyperiod and Doi moi (reform) process.
Speaking at the ceremony, director ofthe museum Dinh Mot said all the documents and items hold significanthistorical and cultural values, demonstrating the development of Dak Lakprovince over time.
The museum will complete scientific documentson each item for conservation and thematic display to help viewers understandmore about the history of the nation and locality, he pledged.
Tran Quoc Toan, a resident of Buon MaThuot city and one of the museum’s donors, said he gave the museum two smalljars, an earthen pot and some bowls and dishes of ethnic groups in the CentralHighlands.
To celebrate the donation, the Museumheld various activities, including a photo exhibition celebrating Buon MaThuot’s liberations and a display on the country’s heritage.-VNA
